Anyone else install AWE OFG exhaust on their trail boss and run into this problem? I installed it approximately 2 years ago and it always had a little vibration at a certain low rpm range. I have the standard cab with the mid length bed so it’s a long ways from the cat to the transition over the rear end which creates somewhat of a sag and misses the cross member (source of the rattle) by about an 1/8” at idle. They’re are only 2 hangers until along that stretch. AWE customer service sucks and insists it was installed incorrectly. Im a heavy mechanic and have installed cat back exhaust on just about every truck I’ve owned with no issues. It’s a shame because it sounds loud as hell and healthy stepping on the gas. Should have just went with Corsa but wanted to try something different. Besides fab and welding another hanger to the frame for more support I’d be interested in other ideas to fix the issue. Thx!
