I ordered a Leer topper through my local dealer back in April. It was delivered damaged and leaked badly. Puddles of water in the bed of my truck. Small chunk out of the fiberglass cap as well. Dealer has been great and went to bat for me with Leer. Cap was removed early July and sent back. Leer said they would repair or replace at their discretion. Leer sent back a supposedly NEW cap. Dealer and myself looked it over and saw many flaws. Broken screws inside the cap where the windows were installed. It still leaks badly. They also got lots of overspray on the carpet liner. Windows from old cap were re-used in new cap. Dealer called Leer and they said it was an entirely "new" cap. How is it a new cap with old windows from the previously defective unit? Dealer owner was as pissed as I was. I declined to accept it and the dealer offered a full refund. Cap has a different serial number but it is obvious they re-used the old windows. Calls by myself to Leer were met with "passing the buck" and telling me that they couldn't tell me what the warranty coverage was on my cap. I'm now done with them and after the dealer telling me that the quality control at Leer has gone way down hill in recent years that sealed the deal. Any recommendations on another company that provides better service, doesn't lie and has dependable products???

Well that sucks. Out of curiosity, how did you know they were the same windows?

I’ve bought 2 and they’ve been great.
Sucks to hear about your issues. For what it’s worth, stay away from Lakeland. They are made locally to me and definitely not worth the money.
