Just got back from North Padre Island here in Texas. Took the Trail Boss on 2 trips down the beach. First trip was an easy 12 mile run on fairly hard sand with the occasional soft spot. 2nd run 2 days later we got more adventurous and ran 40 miles down the beach. This time the tide was much higher & forced me to drive in the softer sand. Some spots were pretty sketchy & being alone 40 miles away from any help is a little nerve racking. Overall the Boss did great especially in 4lo when the sand got really deep. Only issue I had was the Trail Boss is definitely not great at high speed, shook-up all my beers. Doesn't take much to bottem out the suspension. Anyways, great trip fishing & collecting shells with the family. The Boss is definitely capable.
