In my never ending struggle with the power lift gate, I have another question.
Just bought an AMP Research HD max extender. There’s straps that go into the gate’s latches when the gate is down. Normally, when you pull the handle, it would release the straps.
What happens with the electric gate? I suppose once you click the straps in, the truck thinks it’s secured….so when you push the button, it’ll automatically release the straps. I haven’t tried it yet though as I’m afraid (hopefully irrationaly) the straps won’t be released from the gate, and then what…
Anyways, does anyone use this with the electric gate?
