Working on the truck today on a project that's unrelated to this thread, but while working i noticed the black Z71 badge on my front driver's fender is chipped. The shiny black finish is flaking off. These are GM badges, not aftermarket like ebay or Amazon. I bought them from the dealer. I didn't get a pic as I wanted to focus on the other project. I'll try to get a pic and post it here later.

the plasti dip route, is cheap and easy. also easily reversed. Just dont scrub it when washing and it should hold up. just a light rub to clean dirt is enough.
i have had the side covers painted on my harley for a year now, i first tried it to make sure i was going to like the look of the flat color...and it is still going strong/

Finally got around to changing the Z71 badges. Wasn’t hard and very pleased with the results.

I'm biased.
Love your truck! I replaced all emblems with black emblems on my ‘26 LT Trail Boss as well, I’m having the illuminated front bow tie installed right now (don’t necessarily love the illumination but I hate chrome and the chrome around the front bow tie is the last chrome I needed to get rid of), just ordered black exhaust tips, and debating whether I want the black trail boss decals on the side of the bed or just want to remove. I’ve also been looking at black tail lights but have not decided which brand to go with. Which tail lights are on your truck? I live the way they look when not illuminated. I’m hoping to find tail lights that look like yours and have a factory illumination pattern.
