I was setting up some Deer blinds this weekend and hit my front bump stops a few times. I have Bilstein 6112's in the front on the second snap ring so raised 1" I think and 5160's in the rear so its pretty level.

My question is, should I try and raise the the truck more? I don't know what the limits are before needed lots of parts like axel shafts and whatever.
Or is a better more to put some good bump stops in? I could always slow down my offroad driving a little but I don't see that being very fun.

your talking the limits under the upper control arms ???

if so, you can leave them with no worries...but depending on the shock Brand (Bil 6100) they may be limiting total down travel.

i say that, as others do stack shims or spacers and move the location of the shock assembly.

i typically do the BFH method to the limit before actual removal.
