My Carbyte Disabler wouldn't automatically work. I have to use the app to activate each time I travel. I opened a support ticket and was told that it appears that the dealership has a tracking device connected to my OBDII port? (see the circled area). Can I get a better set of eyes on this? Thanks. 2024 TB 6.2.

It's hard to tell from the pic but dig around and see if the factory OBD2 port is tucked up in there and a GPS tracker with a new OBD2 port is piggybacked on. It's not uncommon for a tracker to be installed at customer request (lojack for example) or even for it to be a requirement for a bank to have one, written up in the loan paperwork for theft recovery. Seems kind of silly to install one of these on a newer GM that has Onstar with a built in GPS locator but what do I know!

It appears to run from the OBD under the dash and connects into another ODD port just down the line? I say it looks like a second OBD port because it has the same mounting points that the under dash unit has. (two holes where the bolts would install it under dash). The wiring from the second OBD is locked down fairly tight. Meaning if I did disconnect #1 from #2, #2 would not reach the under dash placement. Big Thanks.
