Check engine light

Went to fuel up today, a minute later the solid check engine light comes on. Stopped at autozone to hook up the OBD reader and it came up with a code. P1029 - Fuel Pump Phase U-V-W Circuits Open. When I went back to the truck to go home, it wouldn’t start. Tried 2 times and no luck. Went to check the fuses but didn’t have a fuse puller so went back to try again and it started. Drove fine going to autozone but on the way home I felt some shuddering. Could this be a fuel pump issue or fuel system control module problem?

Just go get a module from the dealership. I have replaced one and keep an amazon sourced one in the truck.
It may not be your current issue but it will be eventually. Dealer charged $75
