Dealership Oil Change Nightmare

He may be retired like I am. When one doesn't drive to work every day, annual mileage accumulated drops right off.

And I was forced into retirement after which I worked odd jobs as a handyman for 15 years. All of the jobs I ever had and their industries were eventually moved to Japan during the '80s and '90s, after that country announced "Economic Warfare" on the U.S. Most of the folks here where I live drive some brand of jap vehicle. Others refer to GM as "gov't motors" because they don't know about how GM was screwed for decades by the unions, the media and the government.

I love my Chevy truck and my Chevy car. And today GM products are entirely equal or better in quality than other brands.

Sorta is. I put about 150mi on it a week back/forth to work then short trips on days off. If we go anywhere far, we take the SUV

Gotcha! With the gas up again Ive been trying to drive the wifes Subi as much as possible during the week. I put a metric ton of miles on the 2016 I recently traded so Im trying to keep the miles down on my new TB.

I changed my oil at 5000 miles. 0W 20 Mobil one and PF63 oil filter 5.3L. Man when I loosened the oil filter oil went everywhere. But other than that it was a lot easier to change than my 2020 f150 king ranch fx4. No removing the skid plates
