Drivers window problem.

My drivers window will not automatic return. It goes up and when it gets to the top it goes back down automatic, and it will not go back up unless you kill the power to it for about 10 minutes and then it will go up. I replaced the switch and that did not fix it. Anyone have any idea?

You have to do the relearn procedure. It is the anti-pinch feature and if it detects resistance, it goes back down. I don't remember the procedure. When I put vent visors on my truck it had instructions on what to do to a relearn for the anti pinch.

I tried that, my window will not stay up, it gone right back down and it want even try to come back up, until you kill the power to the motor.

I’d pull up a wiring schematic for that cluster and sensors online just to see how it whatever part senses resistance is stuck or fried and see how big of a pain in it is to change. If it’s inside the motor itself I’d bring it to the dealer but that’s me. Good luck
