Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve

I was able to get it fixed about a week ago. I did a Google search for email addresses for GM’s CEO, Head of Customer Service and Head of Customer Experienced I expressed my frustrations and my concerns and they ended up finding a part and overnighting it to my dealer. The service manager complimented me on my email, without reading it, as I was only the second customer he knows of to get such a quick response by going that route. So far the truck is running great.

I know this thread is a little old but I just got the P1098 code today on my '22 refresh LM2 and just over 18,000 miles. I'm really hoping I don't need this but would be able to provide the email address of the individual you sent your email to? I'd like to have it as a last resort if needed.

Thanks!

I was currently given the same answer! 2023LZO. Would you be open to DM me the email addresses you used? They’re booked out for loanerswould you be open to DM me the email addresses you used? They’re booked out for loaner vehicles the dealership is being helpful, but it feels like it needs to be escalated. I don’t have another vehicle to use ha ha

I got my dealer to rent me a car during the time mine was out. I think the weekly rental cost may have helped speed up the process.

I called GM Customer service and they have created a case on their end rather than just the dealership waiting for the part. They said if it goes longer than 2 weeks there is a "delayed parts team" that will jump in to help expedite the process. My customer service guy at the dealer said GM is having a hard time with parts right now, but seriously? How the fuck are you going to get a newer engine going and see people begin to have issues and NOT ramp up production of the part. It's insane. I'm 9th in line for a rental/loaner from the dealer right now.
