Exactly. Lake Speed also had another video comparing thicker oils to thinner oils. That video also convinced me to switch to 0W-40 at my next oil change. The wear metals were significantly less with the thicker oil, and horsepower loss was actually less than the thinner oil at hot oil temperatures due to not raining down on the crankshaft from the valvetrain as much as the thinner oil does.so what do the friends say >>> because THE TRIBOLOGIST stated the DI engines from GM originally needed 30W as a min....then C.A.F.E. requirements had the GM boys switch to 20...and look at us now.
if you really want to know, send samples off and look for bearing material
