Not even gonna discuss the idea of using fossil fuel to turn drills & pumps to extract fossil fuel to run a power plant to convert heat from oil into electricity, route the electricity through a grid system that cannot grow to be big enough for all these EVs, convert the AC electrical to DC electrical to charge all of those batteries, so the electric motors can convert electrical back to mechanical to turn the wheels. Nope, not gonna even discuss it. Not gonna discuss using vehicles burning fossil fuels in the mining of all of that lithium, cobalt, chromium, etc. either. Nope.

Also not gonna discuss how all of the plastics that everyone loves and uses is a by-product of producing gasoline. Nope, not gonna.
I worked in chemistry of lubricants and fuels for 42 years. Let science guide not the entrenched oil interests and you’d be happier. Unbridled corporate control of the world is the cause not savior of our current condition.
I also flew professionally for a major airline and when we developed renewable clean burning veggie based Jet A it was shut down in a hot second because the hydrocarbons pumped from ground were cheaper. Not better or helpful.
If we put as much R&D in appropriate technologies as we have making a filthy carbon chain work we’d all be better off.

Bara is following the cash. You must be a minority in Boulder! 😂 We’ll burn up, flood ,rinse repeat, until the pendulum stops swinging. Leftists and Nazis shouldn’t be guiding science.
' ... a minority in Boulder ... "

Perhaps, in some ways. But not as a Trail Boss owner. It is Amazing how many Chevy Trail Boss trucks there are here now. Starting about the time I bought mine, I have seen so many driving around. It's surprising that we don't see more of their owners on this site ...

They are! The 2.7turbo and factory lift in a custom helped me a lot. Here’s why I bought one down here in the SangreDeCristos. Finally getting some moisture but a bit too little too late I’m afraid. 26” in 12 hours or less.
