Exhaust and dealer question

I see you're in Texas. May take a week or so, not sure. There's a dude on You Tube from Texas called Lonestar Hawaiian. He's had a couple of exhaust mods including the Borla. He finally put on the AWE cat back and said it was the best exhaust he's ever had on his TB. I watched his video and also listened to the videos on AWEs web site. I love their sound the best but the drone cancelling technology was the deciding factor. Good luck and let me know how you make out. You'll have no regrets.

I’ve been watching that guys videos since he was modifying the older Silverado .. I had a2008 z71 before my 2020TB .. … good content on his channel.

not sure if this interests any of you? but I just installed an aFe Apollo GT muffler and am very impressed with the sound.
It has a nice aggressive sound at start up, then settles into a deep throaty tone that I love.
I don't hear it over my tires on the highway when cruising, but when I step on it, it sounds like a v8 with a nice rumble to it.
No drone what-so-ever. All for $193 on amazon and I installed in 20 minutes myself. I also clamped open the flapper(should have just removed it) and tape over the resonators.

Yeah I did. A borla muffler swap and it was very nice … but a full exhaust system mandrel bent 3 inch tubing all the way is not even comparable

Not being bias, (maybe) but I’ve had Borla and it’s very very nice sounding mean aggressive on the gas then mellow off of it with some drone not a lot but there is some…, nothing the radio can’t cancel out… but this AWE is nothing like I’ve heard before from a Silverado it has a hard snap then on the gas it has such a unique performance sound…off the gas it’s crazy quite but any tap on pedal it will low growl ..videos don’t represent the sound even with headphones… that cold start is crazy .. sorry neighbors ..$200 off price through AWE site promo code for Veterans and First Responders so I jumped on it …

Was your single in, dual out (the borla), and I can not recall without looking if the AWE is or not.
For me, I hate the cold starts and the volume. It is aggrevating, even to me. I want an initial bark, then calm down. I will be playing some resonators and possibly mufflers.

Having the true dual makes that slightly more costly, but game doesn't have a price.

My dealership (Gregg Young Chevrolet) was trying to sell me the "muffler delete" the first day I bought it. They also don't care about the leveling kit.
