Hood latch

Hi guys-

2019 Trailboss LT. 5.3L v8.
My hood latch sensor has been activating like crazy the past two days. It did this same thing about 6 months ago and went away, but now it’s back with a vengeance. Anyone have this issue before? I’m trying to find a replacement sensor for it online but can’t find out the part number anywhere. Hate to take it to a dealer if it’s a simple fix. Any insight would be awesome.

Hood latch sensor went bad most likely. Can try spraying some wd40 on it(latch) and put some dielectric grease in the sensor it may fix it. People have used rubbing alcohol and maf cleaner too.

I used rubbing alcohol and cleaned the sensor with cotton swabs, NO more issues on my 2020.
