Was up in the mountains again today. Rather cool and mostly cloudy. Snow fell only when the sun broke through.

Cameras don't represent the steepness, and the roughness, of typical jeep trails. Took an inventory of my recovery gear, which did not today include any survival gear nor any firearms.

Backpack is only water, bowls and treats for the dogs.

I guess I need to make a Checklist. Out on the trails Monday I was all confident, carrying my winch and straps and ropes and all. And unaware that I had left the utility bag at home, with all 3 of the winch controllers in it. Doh!

Put on rough country struts and shocks and UCA to level it, 35x12.5 wild peaks, and a barricade front bumper and skid plate. Rides great, and so much less road noise replacing the stock tires. I also put on some black powder coated exhaust tips.

So we had to find a new spot for hiking, camping, offroad wheeling, etc ... OUTSIDE of Boulder County. Some of our toys which were just fine in the past, now are not. This is a great area in Larimer County, North of Boulder. Nicer Drive to get there, anyway. And better Wheeling.

I just got the bumper finished up this weekend, thought this would be a great picture, only to find seconds ago that it's the only one of the set that ended up slightly blurry. Oh well - i'll call it artistic. Yeah.
