Lifter failure

Thanks for the replies. There’s definitely oil in the truck and it’s reading on the dipstick at the proper level after I added oil. Pressure goes a hair above 60 on the gauge at startup and stays between 50-60 while driving down the road. It may dip down to 30 once warm and stopped idling at a stop.

I had to drive it to work this morning and it ran fine, but about 25 miles into my commute, the low oil level warning appeared again. Pulled over and oil level is fine according to the dipstick. When I started the truck again, I got a message on the dash saying “New brakes sensed, reset brake life meter?” lol. Obviously some problems are happening. I’ll be calling the service desk in the morning and get it back over there. This is turning into a giant hassle.

The truck went back into the service department this morning. They said there was a loose connector and they applied dielectric grease and secured it. It made
this morning’s mini commute just fine with no warning messages after the service visit. The Pulsar LT was reinstalled and I’ll be driving it about 50 miles this evening and see what happens.
