thats due to wheel offset....what are you currently running.37s--- the new 35
As stated earlier, just because you can doesn't mean you should. As an open forum opinion. Looks too stuffed and crowded. I run 6' on 35s and still had a liner tear when flexed.
one thing i was always told (now 50yrs old), and when you really look at builders of high quality offroad trucks (not a company installing lifts)....
that largest tire that fits STOCK, essentially will fit the well when stuffed and moved with zero shock or spring installed, is the largest that will fit.
this dates back to early desert offroad days.... you need to play with wheel specs, tire sizes and travel limits. you cannot just bolt on parts and expect gains...
i will say this, nearly EVERY truck i have seen, put parts on, or fabricated parts for....if it had a wheel that was offset enough to hang out of the stock fender lip...you had issues fitting larger tires.
go look around at Central Alps....i now nothing of the company, or work performed....but they do have some vids posted on how to get a 40" tire UNDER a 2" lifted ZR2....so basically a 4.5" lift on a Silverado. Nothing comes with out sacrifice.
you want a 37, 38 or 40....you made need to MKAE it fit, doesn't take much....but something may have to give slightly. You want height and a 35 ( skip leg day )....that easy.
of topic of this, but related....i am hunting an 08-13 front diff....just to see possible fitment and better gearing choice, GM ran 3:73 is some of those.
