I drove from NY to Bangor ME to close on a piece of property yesterday. The truck was absolutely fine in the cooler dryer weather up north . Right when I got back into lower Connecticut/Massachusetts where it 85-90° and humid as hell I got the famous check engine flash. It was ok all winter and just had a NYS inspection and that didn’t pick anything up either. The same issue last summer. I was doing about 90 on I95 this trip so I was pushing the engine pretty good and It’s a long drive. If traffic got jammed up and had to creep along it’s almost predictable. I could be very wrong but I don’t think it likes the Corsa cold air intake in warmer humid weather. I don’t remember it happening with stock air box. It just hit 55k miles so I’m going to bring it in for plugs and wires this week. Yes I could change them myself but it’s a pain in the ass and if something is wrong it’s under 100k mile warranty anyway. I have a lot more trips coming up and one with a 14’ trailer and don’t want any major issues or cause any damage.
