Hey all. Taking delivery of a 2023 LT Trail boss soon. To this point, I’ve been towing my 17 foot travel trailer with an E2 round bar hitch setup for anti sway and weight distro. That whole set up was dialed in at camping world and calibrated for a 2009 Toyota Tacoma pre-runner V6. I’ve had zero issues with that set up in the past year since buying the camper and getting the tow system set up.
So I’m wondering what I’ll need to do to ensure proper weight distribution and leveling, etc. moving from 2009 Tacoma to 2023 TB.
Anyone have a checklist or something like that? I’m sure adjustments will have to be made, including adjusting the E2’s shank such that the difference between the Tacoma’s roughly 18 inch hitch receiver height versus the trail boss’s roughly 23 inch hitch receiver height is accounted for at minimum (5 inch height diff). Thanks for any advice.
