What's new

New to Forum - 2025 Chevy 2500 Trail Boss LTZ

Hi, they are the Go Rhino RB20 Slim, coated with bed liner. We like them a lot so far. Considering selling them to get the slightly wider regular RB20 which would give a larger platform to help my wife feel more comfortable.
i just installed the RB20 Slim (5.5" wide) on a new 1500 trailboss.... they look very similar to the factory high clearance (that was the goal)...
although they look perfect, they do feel a touch to narrow. you do have to pay attention to hitting it correctly to ensure solid footing

I agree, the look of the Slims is perfect. So far they are functional also, but an extra inch or so in width would be appreciated if it didn’t ruin the slick look. The RB30 is 7” wide so another 1.5”, we may consider that.

I’ll be putting on some go rhino D6’s later this week. I’ll post when it’s done. I had the DSS sliders on my 1500, loved the look, but at about 3” wide it was just a toe hold for the kiddos and wife. Decided to go wider on the 2500

Swapped out theBFG's for 35x12.50 Ride Grapplers and added Amp power steps today. They're expensive but worth the money me. I love the look of no steps and they drop down to the perfect height for myself, wife and kids. I also tinted the front windows and added a strip on the windshield.

How much trimming did you need to do to get the 35x12.5's to clear on your factory wheels? Are you running spacers? I just ordered a 3" leveling lift and I am still nervous about the 35x12.5's rubbing. Yours looks good though.

Hey @BossMoss and @Spencercraven82 Im guilty as well, but we might want to move over to the What Did You do to your HD Trailboss today thread or start a new aftermarket tire/wheel thread for HDs. This was an intro thread.

Steelhead,
I pick up this almost exact truck on Wednesday. Do you know the GVWR on yours? Great looking truck. I love the color.
Thanks. I believe it’s just under 7500 lbs

So I really want one of these. However, in pricing out the ZR2 it is $90K. If anyone knows me it doesn't stop there. When all said and done it would be north of $120K. There is nothing wrong with the beater TB I have. Thinking I might wait. Ugh! F#@King Decisions.:(
I'm not on this forum often since I sold my TB; however, where did you that price from? Before I purchased a 2026 ZR2, 2500HD (gas), I priced out a diesel Bison model, pretty much loaded with all other toys and highest price was 88K. Settled back to a gas, loaded (no Bison) and sticker was 77,340; however, added power steps for 2300 placing it around 79K: but not counting the damn AZ taxes and 1100 for plates.... (Now to add, I got approx. 8K off the sticker price due to employee discount. I actually worked for GM for five years after retiring from the Fed Gov/t, basically no pension worth a shit from GM, but I do have employee discount pricing..)

And just a note, any chance of this forum also changing to a TB/ZR2 forum in the near future. Just curious....
