Was washing the boss yesterday morning when I saw this spot on the hood cracking and peeling!?!?! Anyone else seen this? Purchased delivered, April May/2021. This is crazy. Would think this falls under manufacturer warranty. Wash with hand mit never driven through car wash.

That looks like bird dropping damage. It could be anything though. Something definitely got on the paint and damaged it. If it wasn't caught during delivery inspection, Gm probably won't cover it but it's worth checking with your dealer.

Im loving it. So far the fuel mileage is as good as its been hyped (30 is definitely possible even in the TB trim) and the 10 speed works great keeping RPMs low where the peak torque is. I've owned multiple diesels in the past (1.9 TDI, 2.0 TDI, 12 valve cummins) and as long as its reliable, itll be the best one I have owned yet.

Couldn’t agree more, the wife wanted the grey but I got her the blue one and it looked *way* lighter in the pics at the dealership…
needless to say when it came in she was happy I made that decision

Very nice! I’ve been wanting to have mine ceramic coated, it’s that silver metallic whatever, not sure it’ll have that deep look that darker colors have.
