Howdy yall. I purchased an oil
catch can through Corsa when I ordered the cold air intake for my 2021 TB 1500LT 5.3 and just hit 50k. It’s been sitting in my garage for 2 years since and haven’t installed it because I’ve heard arguments both pros and cons. I’m just wondering what the general consensus is a couple years down the line. Any input would be appreciated!

Installed mine at around 1k miles, just as cheap insurance. Don't know if it's really making a big difference but it sure is catching some nasty gunk. Makes a hissing sound with the engine running but I only notice it when the hood is open. I see no reason not to keep running it.
The pic below was after about 5k miles. Currently at 26k miles and that clear bottle is almost full now.

I guess I haven't heard any cons on them. I think the biggest thing is making sure everything is installed property so there are no vacuum leaks. You also want to take it apart every now and then and run brake cleaner through the lines and mesh screen/filter. I would say every other oil change for the full cleaning, and twice per oil change for dumping the canister and wiping it out.
