Poor audio quality

I have a 24 Trailboss which came with the Bose premium audio system. The sound quality is very poor. I took it into the dealer and they said everything checked out ok. My son has the same system in his truck which sounds way better than mine. I opted to buy a subwoofer from kicker from the dealer. After installation there wasn’t much change to the sound quality. We put two Trailboss’s side by said and the other truck sounded way better without the add on sub.

Any thoughts

My ‘24 TB w/Bose is average. My ‘21 Silverado LT w/Bose was much better quality. For what this option cost, it’s disappointing. I just added a Kicker sub, which gave much needed bass, and plan to replace the front door speakers this weekend. Rear doors next. I’m not sure if there is a center console sub. No sound from that area.

Installing new speakers in the front door was super easy. Crutchfield sends all you need and it's very much plug-and-play after assembling the new bracket.

That said...getting the door panels back on has me questioning every doing individual work again. What the actual .... I gave up. I cannot get them back in snugly.
