Power steering fluid?

Thanks for the reply, my truck is in lockup now (the shop). I don't get these shops, you make a schedule, drop it off, and then it just sits until they are ready to work on it.

I understand the workload and all, however, you should be able to "save your place in line". Then when they free up or close to it, they should be able to call you to drop the truck off. That is who I work with the marine techs and my boat.

Dropped it off first thing in the morning yesterday, no update. I called in this morning, they said the truck has been looked at and MIGHT go into the shop on Monday. Eghha, I am tired of these new trucks always breaking down.

Yikes, I would be aggravated. I make them give me a loaner. Well they couldn't fine my noise in my front right end had to do a ride along with an old crotchety mechanic I couldn't recreate the noise so I told them you keep it recreate the noise of the highway they gave it back said they couldn't. So now I get it back, and will drive it record it and will bring it back to them and make them look inept. Shaking my head why am I doing their job at this point I will most likely lemon law it.

Well to my surprise, I did get my truck back. They did replace the idler pulley and belt. No more whinny sound.
