rear parking assist - retrofit

Parts are in, appointment next week for front and rear park assist retrofit.

Just received the letter and called, parts are now ordered

I also got the letter. Called my dealer. Got an appointment for early this AM.

I dropped my TB off several hours ago. App says it’s been parked behind the dealership all day.

Called service advisor. Short handed today. Stated tech said module is in but missing nuts.

May spend the night before they find someone to work on it.

Not the best dealership experience. Totally different from the heated seat and cross traffic sensor installed at another dealership…

When I dropped it off I was the only customer. 5 service advisors staring intently into their monitors trying hard to ignore me while hoping someone else breaks their concentration first.

Service survey will be the opposite of the last dealership…

Got the front and rear park assist activated today. Both my previous Chevy’s that had front and rear park assist would activate a graphic in the DIC like attached to indicate distance. Both of these were LTZs. This does NOT occur in my trailboss. Nothing occurs moving forward until I’m less than 1ft from an object and I get a solid audible beep.

Called the installing dealer and Chevy, both said there are different versions of park assist. The person at Chevy even with my vin wasn’t sure which version I was supposed to have. My front and rear park assist on window sticker falls under Safety package. I had never heard of these “different versions” of park assist before.

Can anyone confirm that you can have park assist withOUT the graphic in the DIC? Maybe it’s an LT thing, or the better park assist falls under a different package (which is ridiculous if it does)?

I finally got mine back.

Edit: I have a 22 LTD TrailBoss LTD…

Audible alert and yellow warning triangle on screen about 3 feet from the wall (in reverse)

If you keep backing up, about 18” it switches to a red triangle and more serious tone.
