Software update notice received

i dont have one, and wont ! all i have seen written is this...
the DFM is still active and has a far worse exhaust note... that would lead me to believe it is not working properly.

others claim it isnt working due to the engine shut down at a light, that is a different function.

i would be more curious as to whether it stays fully connected, i dont see any provisions to LOCK it into the ECM like the factory harness does.

Just received / installed mine yesterday on my 2024. It DOES lock securely to the ECU body. Took it around the block - so far, so good.

Yes Sir, I’ve had mine updated.

It seems the system could go into download mode and stay there. That’s supposed to be the root cause of the battery drain.

The update is to correct this, and also improve the over air download process.

I’ve driven my truck maybe 50 miles since the update and haven’t noticed any changes in performance or infotainment settings.

Thank you, im going to get mine in next week and have it done.

Just received / installed mine yesterday on my 2024. It DOES lock securely to the ECU body. Took it around the block - so far, so good.

The storm went more east than expected. We got a bit gusty winds, a few trees in the road, but nothing too serious.

I got up this morning and installed the Range Tech on my 24 LT. Everything clicked and snapped as on the video.

I haven't started the engine yet. Daylight came and I had to go to work. I'll check it out this afternoon or tomorrow and report back.
