Tahoe aluminum skid plate

Any one replace the plastic shield up front with the aluminum one from a Tahoe, Yukon?
Looks like it should fit minus the tabs in front.

Go with the Rough Country steel one for $100. I put one on my truck. Much stiffer than aluminum. I added the red acrylic in the RC cutout.

Only made out of 14 gauge. I think the aluminum would be stronger with the stamped ribs. 12 gauge should be the minimum for that in steel without the ribbing.

The bottom plate on the Z71 is aluminum and it might as well be tinfoil compared to the RC steel.
