Transmission Pan and Differential Covers

I am looking at replacing my diff covers and transmission pan to add a drain plug to all. How can I tell what differential that I have?

Any recommendations on either? I am currently looking at PPE for all 3.

Here is info on the type of rear diff ya may have on your rig. I have both the PPE rear diff cover and PPE transmission extra capacity (2.5 additional quarts) pan for the 10L80. The pan I purchased is for either the 5.3 or 6.2. Few pics of my pan and diff with the schematic which should help you determine which axle you have so ya know the correct rear diff.

Additionally, what I ended up doing was contacting GM via email and requesting my individual SPECIFIC Vehicle Build Documentation Sheet.This has all the information referencing option codes, etc., so you don't have to second guess anything about what your rig actually has regarding anything.

I'm not gonna lie, but, yes, it was a pain in the ass! Haha!

Is there enough room if you loosen the trans mount bolts and jack up the trans, or do you have to loosen the exhaust? I raised the trans on my old 2011 Silverado but wasn't sure if it was an option on these trucks. I hate how they always put it so close and make it a pain to remove the trans pan.
