What's new

1.75” v 2” level kit from Ready Lift

The Elka's are newer to our truck platform, but not new to shocks. Not sure howntheynare valued, but anything with some adjustability should be a plus compared to the stock ranchos.
I’ll definitely report back on em. They sure do look spiffy so I’m stoked for the install.

Well, I decided to go with the 1.75” Ready Lift over the 2.0 SST from Ready Lift.
Only because it was a tad cheaper and I really don’t want any rake.

I also decided to go with some Method NV 305 wheels (18x9, 0mm) and 35x12.5 Toyo A/T3 tires.
I’m aware there will need to be some trimming or modification to the wheel well, mud flap, etc.

Things should be installed by this coming Friday. I’ll share a pic when I can, only because I really wish I would have been able to find photos of this exact set up before I bought it. I’ve looked and found similar set ups but not the exact thing.

This pic is the 1.75, a 20x9 Zero offset, with a 35x11.50. It is super close the liners with them pulled all the way...next would be trimming them upwards and removing the rear crash bar.

Dude, that is such a sick truck. My last 2 trucks have been black but I went with white this time. It was just too hard to keep my black truck clean and when off-roading the brush would scratch it really bad and it was really horrible on the black paint. Yours make me regret getting white lol

Crap. I just ordered 35x12.5 with 18x9 0mm and I’m nervous about how much trimming I’ll have to do. Wish me luck! I’ll report back once it’s all installed

you will be good, it will most likely only rub the liner. i try to keep / and maintain a stock look as much as possible. the front bumper CAN also be shimmed forward slightly if needed. add a couple washers to the front bolts.

truck looks great. I was planning on ready lift 1.75 for the level. IS $1100 installed a decent price? Im not sure if i should go with it.

That seems pretty steep. I had a local shop where I work install mine, $520 out the door with an aligment.

I agree that it’s pretty steep. I’m assuming the $1100 includes the $500 leveling kit but I have $1100 in the kit, install and installing a cat back exhaust.

I just got my truck back from the shop. They installed the 1.75” Ready Lift. I’m not too sure on what they charged for the labor/install because they also installed wheels, tires, mount/balance, alignment and did all the trimming necessary fit the 35” tires. I’ll post elsewhere in the forum more about the setup. I’m stocked on hot it looks. The ride quality took a hit, as expected but it’s not bad at all.
I’ve only driven about 50 miles so far with the new setup and appears my MPG dropped only by about 1 MPG but it’s too early to tell. Thanks

Malibu, yes! I lease a rice field/blind with a few buddies in Colusa, CA. I’m usually out there every Saturday, sometimes Sundays if the wife allows :)
We’ll hit the refuges occasionally.
If you’re in the area, come hunt!
Wheels are 35x12.5R18 🤙🏻

waiting to hear how the Elka's do...local dealer has a 2500 high country on Elka's with Cognito arms. Rides very nice for a 2500
Solid call. Everyone goes 5100s on 4 corners cuz it’s what… $600 for the entire truck? Again, take em any day over the stock ranchos but you get what you pay for still.

I have a full set of Elka for the four corners coming here this week to replace the 5100 set.
Any update on the Elka setup?

Damn I apologize. Never came back with the report. I didn’t get them installed til maybe 2 weeks ago, tops. But… man.. I’m in love. Going from stock soft ranchos, to stiff as a board Bilstein, to the Elka. I can say without a doubt it’s my sweet spot. Little more body roll than the bilstein setup which was weird to come back to. But my buddy even drove it thru the mountains this weekend and was like wow dude, my truck feels like shit after driving this (f150 raptor). I even hit some rocky and rooty road at a reasonable speed and it reacted to all input, but did not break half the truck doing it.

They look professional and beautiful, red and black anodizing. They perform better than expected in between the two other setups.
