2022 Wireless Charging Center Console

I bought my ‘22 refresh in June and have my iPhone in an otter box. I haven’t experienced this issue……. Yet.

Wont charge with case. No case, slide into place 'head first'....so far 100% successful...

I have the apple leather case on a iPhone 13 pro I think. So far, sample size limited, I'd say 50/50. Wonder if it has to do with the elevated lip around the camera surround on the case.

Mine is hit/miss also... I wonder if just buying an aftermarket small desktop wireless charger and plug it into the outlet in the armrest would work?. There should be room for phone to fit?.
Not a perfect solution and also one that shouldn't need to be done on a new truck

Have found phone out o f case camera lens down to the back of charger works 100% of the time for me.

I will try this, with case off my 22 is hit or miss but I alwas put with phone lens up. Without case charger works better on kid's XR than my 13

After much research and trial and error I believe I have the wireless charger in my TB working. I removed the charging pad and replaced it with a super thin and highly tacky phone pad. I’ve tested it on a couple trips and it works all the time! Haven’t noticed any heat issues but will see what happens on longer drives.

How was the fit? Did you have to cut it down to size or anything?

The pad is just a little bigger than the phone, so no cutting. It doesn’t cover the charging unit completely, just where the phone sits on it.

Anyone else have issues with their phone charging in the wireless console? I place my phone on the wireless charger and it'll charge for about three seconds then not charge after that. I have to mess with it and position it just right for it to charge. Most times it won't ever find the right position for it to charge. Just looking at some things I can do to fix this problem or if I have to take it back to the dealership. Thank you.
