23TB Hoodscoop Issues

So dealership said gm is going to honor the claim, but they have to order parts. Apparently according to the service manager they are replacing the scoop when they refinish the hood. I guess we will see as it could take a few weeks to get the parts.

So the fix for this was ordering a new hoodscoop which has rubber gasket all the way around. Which is good, but the paint job is not up to par and you can see the fixed areas under certain light.

I know right.... it looks like brush strokes. Trying to get it back to the dealer as they used an independent shop (which is not responding). Service manager is saying he can't see it from the pictures, although it is clear as day.... Have to wait for sunny day before I can get it back to them.
