Anybody installed the Eibach Pro-Truck 2.0 Coilovers

I've been researching for quite awhile, and settled in/ordered the Eibach set.
I had the pro truck kit on my CCLB diesel Colorado for a few years, and had really enjoyed that setup. I feel like they will be a good compromise between the Fox and Bilstein coilover sets. I plan on sticking with stock height, at 60K miles.
Tire rack has them in stock and about 10% off currently FYI

Have you installed them yet? If you have, what are your initial impressions?

Regardless of what coilovers I go with, I'm going to have to use a spacer but I'm leaning more heavily towards Eibach. ICON is going to be too firm and I feel like Fox is going to be too soft. I'm waiting to hear back from DirtKing on theirs.

this is lengthy, but great INFO...i will most likely be ordering my Fox 2.5 elites tomorrow. Found a used set in Dallas, but they were a little rougher than i wanted to risk...and I want a "pretty" set to start with

No, not yet they arrived yesterday. Crazy busy with work, hopefully I'll put them in within a few weeks. Going to let them settle a bit, then new tires and alignment.

Checking back in on this thread to see if you got the Eibach’s mounted. It would be great to get an update. Still bouncing around idea of doing the Bilstein, Eibach or Fox 2.0.

so, all four corners are in and height has been set...I could not be more pleased with the ride, and how noticeable 1 click of the setting is truely felt.

so far, my day to day is a 2 HS dampening, 1 LS dampening. the ride is super plush and at nearly 70 mph...the shoulder of the roads feel like pavement. biggest hit so far, is a righteous set of train tracks near my work place. now at 50 mph, they feel like a slight road crown.

Sorry no update, hopefully in the next few weeks.

Well since I returned to the airport parking lot to a flat tire.. While I had the spare out of the way, I at least put the rear shocks in.
I immediately went out to some rough roads that make the rear end really unsettled and and hop around. It is so much more dampened and settled with the Eibachs. Absolute major improvement, hopefully get the fronts in soon, then some new tires!

Front install is done , at 64K this feels like a totally different truck. So much more controlled. Out of the box ride height is basically the same.. I'll end up with about 200 miles before I put the new tires on. Cant wait to ditch the duras... so loud. i went with 275/70/18 general ATX4 in pmetric.

I just wrapped up a 1200+ mile road trip for the holiday, I couldn't be more pleased with the entire setup. The truck is very composed, stable, and comfortable on road, and my ventures on extended rough gravel roads were also fantastic. I knew rock retention might be less than desirable with the Atx's, and I'd agree with that. However, they are SO quiet vs duratracs. Fuel economy was fantastic 18-20 mpg with 4 peeps a dog, and a bed full of stuff at 10+ ish over. I'm excited to start my daily commute with this setup.

glad to hear...i can say the set up i have is far superior in ride quality. that is to be expected, but to quickly select a setting to accommodate changes is super nice to have. i just did about 1700 miles over 9 days. i set the rear super soft, and the fronts on about 4 clicks. it handled the truck perfectly, floating over the road like being on a cloud....yet so stable and settled.

Just installed my eibach suspension. Pro truck 2. Wondering if anyone got a true or close to true level from it. I was told by shock surplus and the shop that installed it would ride level... granted front end isn't adjusted yet until re torque however it looks like I wont gain the 1.5 inch needed to sit level. A little discouraging honestly.... can't use any type of spacer either from what ive been told

turn your wheel one direction fully....get a good pic of the entire assembly top to bottom

the Eibach is advertised to only go to 2.9" OVER ASTOCK SILVERADO, you should gain just under an inch, depending on the amount of preload...i would set your height now and realign.

how much body thread is left ? depending on location compared to the upper arm at droop ,and the axle shaft to shock body...you may be able to add a spacer

post up a good pic and we can go from there

guessing you have not seen these posts

did you do the Stage 1 (strut) or Stage 2 (coil over)...the stage 2 has a threaded body to make adjustments much more easy
