Question, did you have stock beforehand and just change out the housing ect OR did you have to buy a whole new wiring kit?

Yea I had the factory Fogs installed before hand, the kit comes with the new housing to fit flush with the pods and they were plug and play with the factory harness.

I have the white light leds with yellow lenses to give it the highlighter yellow look. I like that you can swap the lenses.

That looks great and I just realized how glad I am that FL doesn't require a front license plate.

Now if the state could do something about all the people using their high beams, driving slow, and using their cell phone

Yea its one of those "if I need a reason" laws for cops to pull you over. We don't have front plates on the my wife's Cadillac and have never been stopped. My Nephew who is a cop may or may not have told me its just a BS thing that they could pull someone over for if they wanna be jerks. On the other side I pay for custom plates so i feel like i get my monies worth having both plates on lol!!!

I have been hesitant at getting fender flares. I've seen cases in the past where they trap water that leads to the rusting of fenders. Can you convince me they're worth getting? I want to be sold on the idea.
I will never do it again and these were screw in from inside the wheel well and we had the rust protection, this is on an 08 and has been this bad for 5 years.

those flares probably didnt help...but did they also cause the rockers and corners to go ??? i think your area or lack of cleaning may have hinder that trucks life more so than the flares.

My wife has a coworker that was stationed in Guam for several years. They had a Silverado HD until the frame broke while making a left turn on a paved road. The truck was unladen at the time. I might have a pick of their Facebook post since this happened a few years ago. Seems like salt and Chevy trucks are bad combo, even in places where it doesn't snow.

No snow in Guam but plenty of damp salty humid air.

My reply is closer to rated R, so it has been omitted. Feel free to use your imagination.

The fender flares aren't the problem - the way they are installed is.
