Behind Grill LED Light Bar

Nice👍
How did you mount the roof one?

I mounted it today. I fabricated 2 brackets and attached them to two existing bolts. The shutters still operate as before. Extremely bright. Great $85 mod👍
I probably should have used a 2 row LED bar since it would double the light output with same install effort😑.
Took some time but very satisfied with the results.

Looks great, what is the link to the yellow lights and the white bar?

American Trucks has the brackets, $36.99 don't pay attention to the description they say for 20" light bars but they only work with 30"

I'm not finding the brackets on their website when looking under my year truck. Got a part number or link?

Did you use a straight or curved 30" bar with the Putco brackets? Does it only work with single row lights or will it work with any 30" bar with a single bolt end mount?

I used a Lasfit 30" single row straight led light bar, 15,600 lumans, I'm sure any 30" Bar with single bolts would work but I'm not sure about the curved bars

Jmzvet And jamesholyfield24.

I am interested in your thoughts in potentially putting the 30” below behind my grill and how they line up with the open slots in the grill. I plan to fabricate brackets and line it up height wise.

i actually have my grill off right now to install the RC twin LEDs higher up in the grill but want some Amber some where That will be functional. wish there was a bracket used like those have that fits in cut grill that makes something lower look finished. If needed I may replace the OEM LED Driving Lights with Diode Dynamics SS3 kit in Amber and switch the reflectors all to white if needed later On this light bar.

Ordered:
  • Lasfit 32 Inch Off-Road LED Light Bars Bumper Grille Combo Flood Spot Single Row
  • Putco 20-Inch Luminix LED Light Bar Grille Mount Light Brackets (19-22 Silverado 1500)
    • Item #: S121875 from American Trucks.
From my understanding, these will work well together and be a simple install (fingers crossed) 🤞
@Jmzvet I believe this Putco bracket might be the one you saw.

Also ordered the Rough Country LED Grille Light Kit. Figured it I am going to pull the grill off, I'd do both at the same time.

What's the distance between the two bolts you mounted the bracket to? Asking as the Putco brackets are approx. 6 1/2" each (13" total). I estimated the bolts are approx 45" apart. If that is correct, this will work perfectly for a 32" light.

Finally got around to installing.
This combo worked out very well, needed to bend the bracket a little and added few washers where they bolt to the truck. Now it clears the Aero Shutters without modification.

Image of bracket (after I bent it) where it is installed and the light bar installed. Then Final look including the RC grill lights.
