Best 4 inch lift where I can use stock rims with spacers.

Ya, so annoying.

If they want my money, they need to just say use this, these exact part numbers, and that it works.

All these guessing games are inefficient.

if you just confirmation that the Bilstein parts will fit your truck, order for a silverado 4wd....they will fit, the math is easy ( 2.5" on highest setting)...you will maintain a stock TB height, slightly over. the add you level spacer (Top or Bottom)(or both)...

just be informed.. ANY coil assembly can have contact issues when using leveling spacers.

Ya i know but I keep getting two answers from everyone at bilstein, ready lift, and the dealership.

They keep saying to use the trail boss kit
And then they say to use the stock silverado kit.

Yup, just verified by email, readylift and bilstein both refuses to tell me which ones to use. So annoying...

For the fronts I mean. The 6112s.

There is 2 different kits they keep referring to and for the life of me I cannot get a straight answer from anyone at Chevy, Readylift, nor bilstein.

so the two likely kits are:

There is the 47-293557 kit

and then the 47-309524 kit. For the fronts

Which one is the correct one?

So youre saying, use the 47-293557 kit, and use the top hat and spacer from my readylift kit, and put the circlip on the 2.5" setting?

is this correct?

id buy ya a beer if you were in my town. This is proving quite difficult. Its weird nobody else has done this yet?

The readylift was so common... As are the bilsteins.

I promise everyone here I will outline the final solution to this issue for everyone else: the correct settings, the correct part numbers, pictures of before and after and the final costs.

i feel like everyone here deserves to know.

here is the confusion...the TB has models offered for it, that gain up to about 1.5", that is 3.5" over a stock silverado
the ones offered at 2.5" are generally for a standard silvy...

it can get confusing if you dont look hard enough...
here is 2 examples...SAME SHOCK part numbers (the threaded body allows adjustment, but comes as differing part number, due to being set up at the factory to a certain spec).

these offer 1.5" to a TB (3.5" total)

these offer up to 4.5" on a silverado (1" over a Leveled TB)

i cannot express how much going over the 3.5 total on a stock front ends is a bad idea....you eat all the droop travel and get a horrific ride from it.
stay at 3.5" ISH max, and even then most recommend to remove the droop stop and let the shock have full travel...but anything over the stock 2" NEEDS NEW UPPER ARMS, you will separate the ball joint from the stock arm very easily with the added droop

Cont. in next post

these are both TB specific, they will net the 3.25" height total....the rear shock is the difference. Your choice there, the TB springs are not as soft as one would want for a trail vehicle.

Now, my TB below has a FOX 2.5 set at 2.5" out of the box....I added a lower spacer 1/4"...probably sitting at 3.75-4" total....

Like Ive stated, I have the 2020 trail boss WITH the additional readylift 2" kit. Im already now at ~4" on the front with new upper control arms that obviously came with the readylift SST kit.

This is exactly what I mean. There is two kits and nobody will say which one to use WITH my readylift kit to keep the height I have ALREADY achieved with the stock ranchos and ready lift SST kit.

I already know there are two Bilstein coilover kits from for the front coil overs. I supplied the part numbers last post. But nobody will say which exact one to use with my setup and what parts to save or discard from the readylift sst kit.

Everyone is willing to give me the 2 coil over options, but nobody is willing to say exactly which one to use with what I already have and in what order or composition. Everyone dances around the subject at all the stores. Literally everyone.

Ready lift said theyre coming out with their own Falcon coil over kit. Maybe ill just wait because I cannot get a straight answer from anyone. They will probably come pre assembled and the correct 4" total height and travel without spacers too which would be great. Im not sure why they just didnt do this from the beginning by offering a pre-assembled coil over strut to save all of this hassle and nightmare.

I have 35s on here and cannot go back down .5" (3.5" total). As it is Im still rubbing at full lock currently eith 4" total. If anything I want to stay the same at 4" total or gain another .5" for 4.5" total over the stock silverado.

i have offered what i can aside from coming up and bolting it on for you...I WOULD NOT GO OVER 4" at all with just coils and spacers.

aside from your upper arm, you havent gained or changed anything out of the norm...your arm actually makes it slightly easier. they offer more clearance to the coil in order to keep from hitting the coil itself.

if you want 4" or less, grab the 6100 Bilstein # FOR THE TB...either set above is correct (different rear)...then depending on total lift, if you want o push to 4" or slightly over....A LOWER SPACER could be added...but geometry is not a friend here....

this is where the 4"+ cradle lifts take over...which reading back, is what you heading towards. But they have their faults as well...wheel offsets, diameter...CUTTING THE FRAME....

modifying and customizing is just that...try it and take the risk, sometimes it works...some times it costs !

Ya Im just gonna wait for ready lift to solve the issue I think.

Worst case I could just pull the stock shocks, measure them and put new shocks in all the way around and keep the Ready lift components as is. Ive never had any issues with geometry so far. Not once. 4x4 works mint, cvs work mint, everything has been fine. Just my shocks are worn. So i was hoping to simplify what I have up front by throwing in a preassembled coilover strut that acheived the same height. Apparently this isnt possible without an engineering degree haha.

sadly, i believe YOU are over complicating it....overall, yes it may vary by .25" or so...but far too many people have already done this, for this to be that large of an issue for you to understand.

always here to help, just ask away.

On my 2020 TB I installed the BDS 4" kit with Fox 2.5 coil overs and Falken 35's on the 20" TB wheels.. There are no tire rub issues, no wheel spacers required. This mod is a big improvement on how the truck rides and corners as compared to the leveling kit and the stock Rancho shocks. I also added the Brembo 16" big brake kit to the front and Power Stop vented and grooved rotors/pads to the rear. There are no stopping issues either.

The next thing I did was to add a SS Fisher EZV plow. The Plow had to be modified to fit the now 6" of lift. Even driving with the plow installed, you hardly notice it being on compared to when it is removed. Well engineered suspension and brakes make all the difference compared to spacers and subpar suspension components. Not to mention the safety factor.
