Borla S Type Question

It has a high performance sound,.. it’s not just loud , it snaps hard … most other exhausts sound somewhat similar flowmaster and magnaflow are similar sounding .. Borla gives a nicer growl but this AWE is amazing not
the same sound… I’ve had all the others in the past and they are great but the punch of this exhaust is a notch above .. maybe it’s the full 3 inch tubing or the size of the muffler (smallish) .. and when I lay off the gas it goes crazy quite ..but when I get the pedal the sound is amazingly unique….

Thank you for the reply. Exhaust sound is very subjective but it’s really helpful to have a detailed description like that. I’ll definitely look at the AWE setup.

Yes they each have their own signature note , it’s just my opinion they have the same style of old school classic sound , AWE just has a different sound (Borla as well), crisper snaps not that old school low bass sound … a bit cleaner , but at WOT decibels are up there …. I have flowmaster and longtubes on my K5 because that sound note fits the the era of vehicle . MBRP is also a good system for the price had it on a previous Silverado … shoot I had Thrush mufflers back in highschool late 80’s… it never gets old …. I’m considering shorties or even long tubes for the TB …. Can’t leave good enough alone

Never, t nearly 50...i still hit the BMX parks and skate parks with the kids, "still showing them"
i have my own boards and now a 29" BMX...love having fun
