Check engine light on my new trail boss

Wow atleast the dealership was upfront about how long it would take. We are told to tell the customer 1 day even though the shop is backed up almost a week. Do you have a code?

I have a 2021 5.3 liter just turned 700 miles and got the Onstar alert and idiot light on, it says service in 1 day??
My cheap code reader gave me a 2635 code

They have a recall for fuel pump driver modules, I dont think your vehicle is involved. If I see this code its getting a new module though. Cheap junk.

P0300 just figured best to get it checked out.

Ok so I decided to clear the code. It has not returned today so far. Maybe just a hiccup

Misfires occur occasionally for a number of reasons. Not a huge deal unless it becomes frequent.

It came back on yesterday. Cleared again to see what happens. If it comes back on again. I will schedule service.

And it came back on again. It flashed for a few seconds and then now has stayed on. Looks like I am going to have to call the dealership to get this checked out. p0300 code again. Looks like sporadic issues all over the place being posted by trail boss owners. Anyone got any updates?

Last week my first check engine light went on, did the OD. reader and code P0449 came on, a failure in emissions valve malfunction. It shows permanent and will not erase even with the ODB reader. FML

Anyone had oil pump issues? The check engine light came on last week in my 2021 TB (6.2l with about 22k miles), with the onstar indicating engine & transmission service required. I drove it straight to the dealership and they told me the codes indicated oil pump failure. They have it all torn apart now and I am expecting to get it back today or tomorrow. I appreciate all the great info in this forum and I’m interested to hear what some of you have to say.

That's a diff code than what mine showed, Please let me know what you found out. I took a chance and tightened up the fuse box bolts, read on a forum, could be the cause, well the CEL light went off and no issues now showing. I will see what happens next. My truck does not run rough at all even when the light came on.

What did you find out? Mine did the same thing yesterday a mile after oil change

They did a reprogram of the crank system and software update. It’s flashed a few more times then goes off. I am waiting to catch it on to take it back per the dealership

Well the check engine light is back on, taking it in for service tomorrow . Light has been flashing on/off and finally stayed on so they can check it again.

Doubt they will find anything. Probably just clear the code and send you home. Keep us posted
