. other than the hail damage ?? I have not really looked.. I don’t think it took a direct hit.

I’m thinking it was a small hit but enough to weaken the fuse circuit board protective coating and then heat humidity and vibration, the vibration being the large limb that hit underneath my truck finished it off.

you can bump the buss bar with a jumper cable and it pops...shuts everything down until replaced.

if you go to jump start or need a jump...try for the best hook up on the very first try...alot of guys try to jump equipment and other field vehicles...then shortly after, their vehicles dies and becomes useless.

She is collecting dust and bird crap .. fuse box will be here tomorrow.. ready for my truck to be useful again.. driving my 77 dentside 4x4 short bed for now.. the girls like it better than the trail boss anyway

this lives ON TOP of your battery, tpically the red door is slid over to expose the terminal most will use to jump a vehicle...(upper left corner of pic)
DO not arc across this, and sit there arcing trying to connect...it happens daily when people apply the ground first due to access.

this it can short across all very easily and you are now non-op till replaced.
