the BORLA TRUE DUAL S-TYPE... has a very loud growl upon cold start. Nearly to the point of not wanting to start at the apartment before 7am.
it is only a couple minutes long, then settles to a nice low deep idle. Under throttle, it is a very refined tone with good volume, but not overkill.
driving and running interstate, you have to listen for it in the cab. very stock like in the cab while cruising.
the install is tight, as you are going from a single 3 or 3.5 depending engine size...to nearly 5.5" total between 2 pipes. the fit and finish is great, clamps are robust ACCU-SEAL brand. i was planning on welding most of it, but dont feel the need to (yet), i may for my giggles. and being it is 304SS, it polish to a near mirror finish
