Has anyone install a flat 4-pin plug connector?

I find it baffling GM failed to install the commonly used flat 4 plug on their trucks.

I have a flat 4 adapter that plugs into the 7-pin connector but I would prefer to just have a plug installed. I don't want to remove the 7-pin plug either.

Has anyone install a flat 4 connector and if so can you show what you've done.

Must be one of them fancy trim trucks. My Custom has the 7 and 4 pin plugs both.

Yeah, it's for the trailer camera plugs. My Custom doesn't have that option so it's a 4 pin trailer plug there. Maybe you can swap for that version.

That's pretty fancy. I don't have that. Mine has the 7 and 4 pin plugs. Even with that, I bought an adapter for my 7 pin plug because I didn't want the stress on the wires when the cover clamps down on the wires.
