Is Dexos Certification Important To You?

Dexos cert oils are "supposed" to keep oil vapors to a minimum.

My catch can begs to differ!

i truly think the quantity oil of oil mist, like all motors will depend on each one.

do i get some residue, Yes...is it a lot or a surprising amount...NO
this can all depend on numerous things within the motor, how it is driven, Temps etc....

overall, i think the thing to know is this, NOTHING is present to help clean the valve stems with GDI....so to have one is better than not...Why GM does not follow the likes of others with separators is beyond me, but if they did, you would be paying another 10K for your ride.
