I ordered a 23 Duramax Yukon Denali 2 months ago. Doubt it will be built before the 24s start production then I ll wait longer and pay more. Oh well. I was born with nothing and I’ll go out with nothing

That will be a nice SUV! We just got my wife a 2023 z71 Tahoe in summit white with the 5.3. We happened to get lucky and found one that just happened to be delivered to a local Chevy dealer here in IL.

Congratulations on finally getting your TB. I have the Dark Ash 2022 Custom TB wtih the 3.0 Diesel. Love mine, already blacked out except the Z71 tags, tinted windows and ceramic coated the vehicle too. I have some small tweaks in mind to help differentiate mine from all the other Dark Ash Silverados and TBs around here. Enjoy your new truck!

I have a 22 Refresh with the duramax and the hood scoop on my truck is slowly wearing through the paint on the back corners/front edges. It was rubbing just slightly at the back corners of the scoop, closest to the windshield, when I picked the truck up new, and I just noticed that it was rubbing through on the front edge when I was ceramic coating it this weekend.

@22TB6.2 did you say that you saw that a 22 TB had a felt “edge” between the scoop and the hood?

Yes that's GMs fix on the 23s

Yes. Same hood, same problem regardless of engine. Design flaw.

I washed mine this past weekend and don't have any hood scoop paint issues yet. I'm hoping it stays that way.

Hood scoop issue is alive and well on my TB. Under 600 miles. Such bull…. My sales rep acts like he’s never heard of issue even though I’ve told him several times. I have asked for a meeting with sales rep and general manager as the finish of this truck is terrible. Paint blemishes, terribly designed hood/scoop. What’s next? A $65k truck that is tarnished. What a bargain!
