Leveling kit hight

Sounds like it might. On stock should not effect anything. Luckily I have had no issues with anything I've done. Good luck.

resurrecting this thread ... I have read pretty much read everything on site in regards to level kits, tires etc... I'm eventually going with a full lift but for now I'm going with the RC 1.5 level kit with new control arms , Bilsteins and 20 x 35 x 12.5 Falken Wildpeaks....

Offset recommendations are all over the board is there a sweet spot or is it all about the Poke ? or stick with stock and go with a 1.5 wheels spacer ?

For those that have had their's for awhile any long term thoughts on handling, ride and fuel economy...

Should I go 2 inch or stick with 1.5 ? .... with control arms I should be able to use the Auto feature ?

I'm heading back to the Baja and I do spend 60 percent of the time off road rocky hills and alot of wash board dirt roads....

(I'm getting quotes today on the work, If its kinda high I may just go with the RC 4 inch with coil over and adjustable Vertex struts)

Sure I like the looks but I'm also serious about the function particularly where I go.....on road handling is also very important

Thanks in advance for your input...

This is my experience only so take it for what it’s worth. I got the Readylift 1.75 with the UCA’s and left the bottom spacer off. It was within 1/2 inch of being level with the back. I’m running stock wheels with 275/70-18 Ridge Grapplers. Once I put the kit on I drove it for about a week around town and it seemed to be fine. Then we went from Chattanooga to Birmingham for a ballgame. It felt like it was extremely windy at highway speeds. Definitely drove differently than it did stock. I also noticed sometimes when it was parked that the front just looked too high (for my OCD liking). I ended up taking the top spacer off and using the bottom shim only. It’s not completely level but I added 1/2 inch over stock height in the front…and that’s ok with me. Best comprise I could come up with. I travel a fair amount for ball games and often drive my truck. I’d rather it handle well and be fun to drive so I’m gonna keep it as it is.

I’m 100% happy with my set up. Everything on the truck functions as designed with zero problems in 2yrs, 18,000 miles. Admittedly 99% of that is on pavement in 2wd. I have used the Auto 4wd in snow conditions and had no problems.

sounds good but likely will rub. Im on 33x12.5x20 with 1.5 inch leveling. I get full turn rub (flap is 2/3 cut held on by the 3 screws) but I love the look, I can't lift it or it won't fit in my garage

Are you on factory 20" wheels? did you need a wheel spacer? i just picked up a deal on some 33x12.50.20 and i already have a RC level, just eyeballing it seems like the tire will rub on the factory UCA without a spacer, am i wrong in thinking this ? lol

No, mine had 18s, I bumped to 20s for the tire size. I tried a spacer to get a little poke but made the rub worse. My UCAs are close but I also dont 4 wheel. I do have a post that shows my wheel specs.

With my factory UCA and a rough country level kit, this is my factory tire size 265/60/20. Didn’t want to breakdown the wheels/tires just to find out I need a spacer to run 33/12.5/20. Got a good deal on them so I’m heading into this blind lol

Fingers crossed your stock wheel offset is enough to clear for the 35s. I believe my 20s had the same as the stock 18s.
