I had it “professionally “ done at Gunnells … but I’ll look when I get back homeThe trail boss already has 2" blocks. I'm hoping you didn't stack a 1" block on top of the stock block. If so, that's your problem. You need a solid 3" block.

a stacked block is never a good idea, but being 3" vs. 2" is part of the problem...doesnt matter of 1 or 3 blocks are used...it is the lever arm action due to increased length (height) of the block. The trail boss already has 2" blocks. Don't tell readylift this. They'll argue with this.a stacked block is never a good idea, but being 3" vs. 2" is part of the problem...doesnt matter of 1 or 3 blocks are used...it is the lever arm action due to increased length (height) of the block.
i have had a few tire brands, when new...have a floaty feel for a few hundred to 1K miles. if that is the case, hopefully yours will settle in very soon.
Yes and yesBy lifting to 4”, did they put on a readylift 2.0sst? If so, several members have those installed and may be able to chime in. Also, assuming the new tires were installed at the same time? Could it be the difference in stock tires to the new nittos?
My first set of nitto ridge grapplers (different than the new recons, I know) felt “tippy” is the best way to describe it initially. This either went away with miles or I got used to it.

I'd suggest it's either a veteran thing or a blue truck thing, but I qualify under both criteria and will argue neither describe me. I've blocked out the 30th & 31st to install my RL 2" kit. I hopefully won't need both days, but I'm deliberate (notice I didn't say "old" or "slow"). I'll check to see if I experience lift float.I had my TB for about a month then added the RL 2" kit and 295 70 18s. I lost a few MPGs but didn't notice much else in handling but Im old and drive like and old man![]()
Why wouldn't this be part of the lift kit if this is an issue?
any time you accelerate, the snout of the rear diff tries to turn upward, the leaf flexes and this CAN change the dynamic feel of the truck...almost like counter steer or rear steer. when increasing the height of a lift or spacer black, you increase the lever arm action and the torque of the engine increases in feel.
