New 2022 Trail boss Emissions

LOL...............I am not sure about that, but cannot wait to get this DEF nightmare fixed.
I bet, good luck! I hope it isn't too painful of a process. Not like my collapsed lifters issue was

Do you have the Duramax? Just making sure because I don't think my 6.2 has a fuel filter, but I could be wrong lol.
Yep 3.0 Duramax 3.0 LM2

I've been doing the oil every 4500 miles and this will be the first fuel filter change at 9k
I like doing the service early to protect my investment.

Actually, I take it in tonight to leave it so they can check it out. I took it in that day and the stupid code went off on the way there, but they were able to see it and said it had to do with the DEF system. I had to bring it back so they could put me in a car while they have it. We have had the light come on several other times, but it did not shut the truck off and went away after driving it. Anytime, we sit somewhere for a minute the light comes on and I am thinking it should not be that sensitive. so we will see.
Found out it was the battery that was bad and it was making the truck through codes. They replaced the battery and everything seems to be fine so far, but keeping an eye on it. They said it is like the 6th Trail boss to come in with a bad battery. I am not sure what is going on there, but glad to know it was nothing serious.

That is good news. I think I'll load test my battery. Just to make sure its in peak condition before my Trip!

That probably would not be a bad idea. ;)

I thought I would share that the battery did not resolve this problem as it started doing this again. I ended up taking it back in and the actual cause is one of the V-band clamps between the DPF and catalytic converter is leaking. Hopefully, this will put it to rest.
