No sport mode option on my 2022 6.2

So, question;

Has anyone swapped the non-Sport drive mode switch out for a Sport drive mode switch, to see if that gives the option?

Or have they done this, and it's disabled in the PCM?

I wouldn’t think it would be that easy. I don’t know for sure, but my bet is it would have to be turned on.

That's what I'm thinking. When I get my fog light kit installed and have them unlock the code, I'll ask if they can do the Sport mode too. See how it goes. 🤷‍♂️

Pinging this thread as I too have a new 2022 TrailBoss with a 6.2. It also does not have sport mode (only Normal and Offroad, with a separate button for tow/haul), and according to the dealership this is intentional on all TrailBosses (said the ZR2s don't have one either). Now I have read somewhere else this may have to do with the tires it shipped with, cause we know at least some TrailBoss owners have additional drive modes. I have the Duratracs on 18s. If this is the case, I have to believe turning additional drive modes shouldn't be impossible, but seems like we will need to wait until someone/company cracks the ECU. All in all, can't find any guidance rom GM on the why, which is frustrating.

Anyone know why I don't have a sport mode option with my new 2022 6.2 trailboss? Just picked it up 2 days ago. I went through all of the menus and it just had the off road . Any help would be appreciated
for some reason they decided not to add it. normal and off road are all you get, same deal with my 23 6.2. VERY disappointed in that, but adding a Pulsar LT can change your throttle response, etc. its stupid that they dont have a sport mode tho

It doesn't have anything to do with tires I don't believe. Mine is a 21 with the 6.2 and the 18" wheels...and Sport Mode.

2022 non refresh, 5.3, 18” wheels, no sport mode. Could it have anything to do with DFM? Mine came factory with no DFM due to chip shortage.

I’m pretty sure it’s related to the chip shortage…but I’ve been wrong plenty of times. Don’t most 21-19’s have sport mode?

I have a 21' LT 6.2 DFM with sport mode.

Edit: 20 inch factory wheels and Wrangler tires

I have a 22 refresh with duramax and I have sport mode. Only chip I am missing is the parking sensors.

This just gets more puzzling and puzzling. I think it is limited to the refresh models that are without (22s and 23s).

I have a 22 Refresh LT, All chips in place, no dfm from factory, 18's w/DuraTracs, 5.3L 10 speed and NO Sport Mode. Normal and Off Road only.
