What's new

RL 1.75

Yes. Adding the 1.5in spacers did cause rubbing at the mudflap/fender well area.
Easily remedied by trimming the mudflap and removing the overly engineered fender liner mount😛.
You should be fine with the 20s👍

As far as the level kits go, is there any difference between the one from Ready Lift and the one from Zone? One better than the other?

in theory, there is no difference. both are spacer lifts. the Readylift appears to keep the coil assembly centered in the travel zone by using a top and bot spacer.

So I think the setup I’ve decided on is the Ready Lift 1.75 with .375 Bora spacers and 285/65r20 (or 35x11.5) Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT on stock wheels. Anyone see any issues with this?

Also, does anyone know how adding the 1.75 leveling kit, spacers and tires affects the warranty? I called my Chevy dealership service dept and they said to contact GM. I figure there’s enough people here who have done it that surely someone has the answer.

ANY mod CAN void some portion of a warranty, but it has to be proven your mod caused said failure. Now...do you have the funds to fight GM corporate when the trans fails and you have larger, heavier wheels and tires ???

Well given that scenario I would pursue whatever avenues I could without sinking a bunch of money into it, but in the end it would simply come down to a numbers game. Given the choice between paying for a transmission vs paying tens of thousands, or more, to fight in court, I’d just pay for the transmission. As you said on the other thread, there is some risk there that has to be taken on.
