See Blown up 6.2L, NO parts??

I've always thought the AFM or DFM was the source of the oil useage. This should have never been on any engine. My 18' LTZ used about 1/2‐ 3/4 of a quart in 5,500 miles. My 22' Refreshed 6.2l TB is only using about a pint in 5,500 miles. 34k on it right now.

Explain what cause the usage, if ALL HP engines do it and non HP engines do not....love hearing the minds thoughts on this topic.
