Trail Boss Leveling- per the dealer

do yourself a favor, when ready...research shocks, and specifically the valving type each has. a single persons explanation or interpretation of ride quality is widely varying dependent on word choice. the more adjustment a shock can have the better, but that cost $$$.
here is a good listen to a large selection of the more normal choices, and price points. Take KING, they are said to be the best in ride quality...yet you always see them paired with addition shocks....they are valved soft and therefore travel quickly and heat up...becoming very soft, so they need additional assistance with heavy use.

So after sitting here reading a lot of good info I am curious about something on leveling kits. I wanted to put just a 1.75 leveling kit on. Nothing else. I didn’t consider replacing or upgrading arms or joints but would it be beneficial long term for future wear to replace them?

on the TB, the angles of the joint are about done at stock height. if leveling, it is highly recommended to upgrade the uppers, especially if you wheel it at all

And actually….i need to throw in a thanks to the anti kachow crowd as well - GetGone - I’m lookin at you! 👍

All right - so pulled the trigger on the Ready Lift 1.75 inch level kit - thanks be to all that weighed in - in particular Stormin08 - your ride is a gorgeous pickup and the article you provided was immensely helpful. The ride quality is just a bit harsher - which I like - a LOT less body roll. Truck feels planted and stout. Next up: wheels and tires….=D
Your truck looks great! Did you have to adjust any cameras or sensors on the front with the 1.75 level or does everything still work and look the same. I am wanting to level mine and just wondering about that aspect.

i have made zero adjustments to sensors or headlights for that matter. typically, the headlights are the first thing i do...no one has flashed me as yet

all other sensors are fine, lane assist, crash.., parking...all good to go.

Nope - haven’t touched a thing yet - I don’t do a lot of driving at night but we’ll see and I’ll update - but I will say that all camera views are still perfect.

I marked my headlights on the garage door before the lift and they are a couple inches higher. It only takes a few minutes with a long screw driver to adjust them back down.
